not that it's anything new, and it's only about baseball, but you would think someone would be paying attention....and it's sort of a "and oh, by the way" type topic for them. It's only baseball. Notice the size of the articles...Cowboys playing the #1 ranked team in the country.

COLLEGE BASEBALL ROUNDUP
FROM STAFF REPORTS Hansen leads OU past Texas Tech
OU sophomore righthander Alec Hansen pitched a complete game three-hitter to lead Sooners past No. 10 Texas Tech, 5-2, in front of 1,313 at L. Dale Mitchell Park on Saturday.
Hansen (3-2) was sharp for eight of the nine innings he worked. He didn't allow a hit through the first four innings before a bloopsingle and a seeing-eyesingle got Tech going in the fifth and both runs came in to score on wild pitches.
"Last year, I don't think Alec gets out of [that fifth inning]," OU coach Pete Hughes said. "So it really showed maturity, grinding with it, making adjustments, and getting out of that inning and continuing to pitch well after that. And thats what growing up is all about."
At the plate, Kolbey Carpenter was 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for the Sooners (16-9, 1-1 Big 12).
Cameron Smith (2-2) took the loss for the Red Raiders (16-7, 1-1), giving up six hits, one walk and three earned runs in six innings while striking out four.
The Sooners and Red Raiders close the series at 1 p.m. Sunday in Norman.
COWBOYS FALL AGAIN TO TCU
Conor Costello and Dustin Williams each had two RBIs, but OSU dropped the second game of a weekend series 7-4 to TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Tyler Buffett took the loss for the Cowboys (15-7, 1-1 Big 12).
The teams will wrap up their series at 2 p.m. Sunday.
