I know most have already assumed he was coming back, but he just wrapped up with coaching staff ironing out some details and is officially told them he is staying. They are going to have him “announce it” later this evening. Announcing it mostly just to keep the “news” flowing and help with dominoes, per coaches requests.
I know Bryce isn’t everyone’s favorite player and hasn’t lived up to expectations, but in a time where we all complain about loyalty and new age of college basketball, I think it says a lot that Bryce loves OSU and is bought in, especially since he had some good options to go elsewhere. Additionally, he’s playing a key part in helping bring in players.
All this to say, it’s great to see someone bought into the OSU culture/family in these crazy times. And having a 4 year B12 player come back doesn’t hurt.
