for the Cowboys. Losing 6 of the last 9 is not a good thing. RPI is now 31 or 32. As your record gets worse, the more important RPI becomes it seems. WVU won't be any cakewalk this weekend. In fact, this is probably the last team on the schedule that could enhance the rpi to some degree. They are 41. Everyone else left on the schedule won't really change the rpi much, even in a sweep. The #2 starter for wvu has 4 CG's...but is 2-2 in B12 conference (as is their #1 guy). Let's hope that's a good sign for the Cowboy batters. Their leadoff hitter is hitting over .400. They are aggressive on the bases, which doesn't bode well for our catcher. They've played both their out of conference series and have been on the road for 19 games. Looks like they are still in the hunt for a solid #3 starter, but #1 and #2 are settled. Here is hoping for the best. It's a critical weekend.
