OSU 6th in the conference in QBR. 7th in passing yards per game. 6th in passing completion percentage. 7th in yards per attempt. Tied for 3rd in TD's. Second in least Int's. 6th in attempts per game. UTN is behind OSU in every single category but attempts. UTN is next to last in yards per attempt, only ahead of ISU. But yet local media criticizes Gundy. UTN's QB rating is barely ahead of Bowman's which is 100.53. Comparing to UTN to me is legit, SOS for OSU and UTN is about the same IMO, and UTN is yet to play on the road.
Someone said we are last and maybe only ahead of Houston, not even close to being true.
What is holding back the OSU offense the most, despite a 3 headed monster at QB, is an inconsistent run game that does not allow OSU to pass when it wants to, not when it has to.
This offense is capable of so much more IF 2 things happen: Get an average run game for 2 halves of football, and settle on a starter. From that hopefully we see better flow in calling plays.
