Actually he does. He just agrees with the progressives. He will call you a regressive because he thinks that is a way to define your ideology. Rest assured it doesn't.
What David fails to understand is that not every change is good change. He says every change was progress, but in reality, what is happening is that change can have negative impacts as well. For every change progressives have achieved, there is a negative impact on the American Constitution and culture. Thier ideas are not good for a capitalist society, but he doesn't see it that way, he sees the destruction as a positive. Ergo his opinion of you.
