A lot has been made of the officiating mistakes from last weekend, but one only has to look at only the third play of the game to see an enormous momentum shift in the game.
I don't know officiating enough to know the difference between pass interference and an "uncatchable ball" and where the fine line is between the two.
In the third play of the game on 3rd and 10, we are flagged for pass interference, yet Hubener launches the ball into the ground a good 6-8 hards in front of the WR.
If that call hadn't been made, our D makes an opening stand that I believe would have made a huge difference in the game.
When is interference not called due to uncatchable ball? Did the ref "assume" that the KSU QB threw the ball into the ground because of coverage? Or should it have been a no-call because the ball was not catchable?
There were at least 2-3 more like this during the game...some under thrown...some over.
