You can just feel Texas turning blue

Along with na no nuclear plan....I guess we all go back to living in mud huts.
All the millennials and leftist socialists who back her will have a rude awakening when their cell phones stop working. Those of us who grew up without them will know how to survive...those leftists will be totally lost...no phone and no internet to tell them how to do everything.

Yeh, people in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin want to pay $12/gallon for gas and are totally ok with us being dependent again on ME oil.
Wouldn't she want to ban the purchase of all foreign oil too? I mean let's not be hypocrites. If we don't produce it we shouldn't be incentivizing the ME to continue to drill baby drill.

I'm all for finding a cleaner more efficient way of meeting our energy needs but solar and wind power are unreliable and just as detrimental if not more to the environment as fossil fuels.

Bernie and all these leftists pushing this nonsense first need to deck out their private planes with solar panels to show us how these planes can fly. Bernie needs to start before the election with a night flight from Vermont to California.

Or better yet, get that thing airborne just before the sun goes down.

Do people not understand that the entire world economy is based on energy that is created by fossil fuels.
If you ban fracking the price of natural gas and oil will go to all-time highs over night. Millions will lose their jobs. We will go into recession. Property values in places like Oklahoma will nosedive. We will have to increase our use of coal, which means higher emissions. The price of every article of clothing in those Patagonia (who opposes drilling) catalogs will go up. The price of pretty much everything will go up, along with unemployment, crime, and poverty. It’s also a national security issue. Our military will be weaker.

Fracking is the best thing that has happened for the environment in the past 20 years, in my opinion. Not to mention, as pointed out above, our economy is fueled by fossil fuels.

Power won't go out. But they won't comprehend why their mom and dad are constantly upset and arguing about their electricity rates and taxes going through the roof. Unfortunately, they will likely ignore it and return to their game of fortnite in the basement.

I think it will in many places.

You may be right. Would be interesting to see how California which already deals with brown-outs at times would generate their power needs. Question for the leftists: Why hasn't California enacted this policy already? If elimination of fracking and fossil fuels is so wonderful, why not demonstrate the leadership and enact these policies at the state level? Isn't that what the United States is supposed to be about? Each state having the ability to self-govern and effectively experiment on solutions that are right for each? I'd note that I'm only aware of even one municipality that has tried to go this way (Georgetown, TX) and it was an utter failure that created a $7M budget overage due to increased electricity rates.
