It's amazing how the State Department has managed to drag this shit out as long as they have. More emails that weren't handed over and more emails pointing to pay for play. Just more of the usual Clinton sleaze.

Of course, the reply from the Clinton team to keep the lefties in the MSM from taking a peek is a comical doozie. Let's not hold Ms. Crookton accountable because Russia!

“Hillary Clinton is not in government anymore or a candidate for office,” Fallon told Fox News. “So none of this is going to succeed in distracting the public from the active FBI investigation into President Trump.”

While I am of the opinion the Hillary is one of the most corrupt politicians in American history, this does not strike me as much of a story. Why does anyone think people donate big money to campaigns/politicians? For access and jobs. They all do it. Half the ambassadorships are awarded to donars.

There's a difference between soliciting donors during a campaign with its implied quid pro quo and using the Sec of State position to sell off 20% of one of our nation's national security resources for contributions to her private slush fund aka foundation. Then not publicly reporting the "donations" as agreed.

Maybe if the DOJ, FBI, and CIA stopped playing politics and stuck to law enforcement and security and started prosecuting this stuff it would not be business as usual in Washington.

I would like to see a new prison built with the intent it was to house all Washington law makers that undermined our constitution and our laws by selling out the American people. It might send a message, build it within 5 miles of congress. Some White collar crime can cause more harm than Blue collar crime. When no one goes to jail there are no consequences and the corruption continues.

The fact very few Congressman or Washington politicians have gone to jail the last 40 years, and all of us knowing it is corrupt as hell tells us we have a serious enforcement problem. Why do we not have the stomach to send them to prison?

Don't need another prison. Alcatraz should be reopened for them---in its present state of disrepair. Spending several years in that squalor would be appropriate.

Opening an investigation into Clinton/democrat/Russian collusion might snare too many on both sides of the aisle. Below the surface, in the intricate twisted web of DC, it's likely members of both parties and the establishment have many questionable interactions with Russians dating back decades which could be exposed.

Dems, repubes and the establishment can unite against Trump with phony unproven allegations as he is the outsider and not "one of the club". Going after dem/Russian collusion may jeopardize the witch hunt and force "the club" to rapidly change to CYA mode.

When all else fails for the right, they just retreat back to talking about the Clintons.

One wonders if the obsession will ever end?

Or maybe Trump is just as corrupt as all the rest of them and the whole lot should go to jail.

After you are doing nothing but speculating about unproven allegations about "members of both parties and the establishment" as well when advocating they be sent to Alcatraz.

I have no problem sending Trump to jail if he deserves it, but we need to have equal justice for all in Washington.

Get no argument from me on that one.

Imprimis, however, speculated that an investigation of as yet unproven allegations against others would likely result in them being sent to jail while at the same time declaring allegations against Trump as phony...despite them presently being investigated. In other words, pro-Trump speculation, anti-everybody else speculation.

Remember that time when the libs did nothing but retreat back to Dumbya when all else failed.................

Before we get into pay for play, let's make sure we don't have pedophiles running around killing staffers. So are we off the Seth Rich deal now? Pizzagate? Shouldn't we get some closure on those Clinton scandals before picking up another one?

Trump may be corrupt. To date, despite having less success than Nick the Nerd has in getting past Mary Jane Rotten Crotch's undies, none of the shit flinging they've tried has stuck. Nor have any of the myriad of leaks borne fruit despite their orgasmic pronouncements that "this is the smoking gun".

I have no problem sending every last one of those dems, repubes or establishment types to jail. Sending them to Alcatraz saves the costs of building a new prison as the poster I replied to suggested. Put all of them in cells and let the tourists walk by to look, point and laugh at them in their squalid surroundings is more deserving than some new fancy prison. I'd go further and bring back the stocks and let the tourists throw rotten food, slap or kick them in the groin. Hell, I'm in favor of bringing back tarring and feathering too.

WTF is with you and your hypocrisy? I was saying this kind of stuff about your neocon Dumbya regime for years and..... nothing. Now you're Mr. Anti-corruption. Where ya been all this time?

I thought we had already established that this already exists. (equal justice for all in Washington).

There is just as much, if not more evidence of Trump corruption than these vague assertions you are making against unnamed individuals.

You're cheerleading again.

To me Trump is like Ole Miss football. I have little doubt they did some pretty shady crap to get to the top, but the Dem's and GOP turning on him so hard is like Bama and Tennessee trying to claim moral high ground over Ole Miss. All Trump is, is a novice politician who doesn't know how to properly bury the bodies yet. He will in time though.

I'm just hoping Kelly keeps tightening the screws.

Do you favor Ole Miss getting hammered by the NCAA for their violations or just letting it go because they aren't as bad as Bama?

Note how most Biff defenses dont' even bother to defend his conduct -- they either shoot the messenger (MSM BIAS!) raise a "whatabout" defense or simply allege a conspiracy, as if any of those are defenses.

No I think they all should get hammered if they are doing something corrupt. I think I've been pretty consistent in my feelings about what's good for the goose is good for the gander, I can't say that many on here hold my same opinions on the matter.

My assessment was more based on the feeling that what Trump is getting busted is for is not much different than many of the things both sides have done in the past. Not saying it's right, just simply saying that it's nothing new. I'd loved to have seen the emails from the RNC during the election. No doubt they are just as shifty and two faced as the democrats. It's how the system works.

I have no problem with the scrutiny that Trump is getting. I do think the longer it goes on the less effective it gets. Cry wolf too many times and eventually no one listens. Since he's been elected all it's been is crying wolf, not saying there might not be something to some of it but I've honestly stopped watching the morning national news shows because everyday it's some new "breaking news" that ends up fizzling to nothing. I know I'm not alone on this and now if something does happen the impact is less because fewer folks are listening.

Ugh. Again, you can't be serious!

Again.

I absolutely am. Point out any.....ANY....evidence in imprimis' posts in this thread.

ANY.

He doesn't even name whom he is talking about or what they supposedly did. Yet he's talking about putting them in Alcatraz.

I'm still waiting from you about Seth Rich.

I'm talking about Clinton and the DNC and all of the shit they have done.

There's plenty of evidence. Shit tons actually.

That being said, let's just go this route.

The email from Podesta alone, where he mentions making an example of the leaker, which is basically no evidence of anything at all, is more evidence than has been put forth that Trump has colluded with Russia or that Russia affected the election in any way whatsoever.

Huh. Sounds just like Hillary and her supporters. Like exactly.

The latest defense to yet more sleazy shit exposed is "It doesn't matter because she's not in public office any longer." I wasn't aware that losing an election was a pardon for crimes that were possibly committed.

And if that wasn't enough, throw in an additional "well it won't distract from Russia Russia Russia!" Duh. Hillary's sleazy activity wasn't caused by Russia or Trump, but it might actually involve Russia. And the Ukraine. And Trump. And yoga routines and wedding planners.

Maybe you might want to talk about what I'm talking about in the post you quoted and challenged.....for clarity and context, and all that stuff. I was replying to a particular statement by a particular poster where he made particular allegations. My response was absolutely accurate. He had made zero, zip, zilch factual allegations.

As for your last statement....it's just incorrect. I'll call your "make an example of a leaker" e-mail as evidence of murder of Seth Rich by Hillary and raise you Donald Jr's e-mail indicating he intended to meet with a Russian government official to receive official documents that "is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.” That alone is definitely stronger, more compelling evidence of Russian involvement with the Trump election than your is that Seth Rich was murdered by the DNC or Hillary....especially given the recent lawsuit by the private investigator that was the primary source of the Seth Rich murdered by DNC theory.

As for "all that shit they have done", I'm all for investigating the same. I'm consistent with wanting them both investigated. Are you?

You need to read again what I said.

"Opening an investigation into Clinton/democrat/Russian collusion might snare too many on both sides of the aisle. Below the surface, in the intricate twisted web of DC, it's likely members of both parties and the establishment have many questionable interactions with Russians dating back decades which could be exposed."

I never said an investigation would LIKELY send anyone to jail. I said an investigation MIGHT snare (probably should have used "ensnare" - please forgive me) people on both sides of the aisle. SNARE doesn't mean sending anyone to jail. It does mean that an investigation might implicate (compromise, link, enmesh, trap, capture, point fingers at) people on both sides of the aisle.

My LIKELY comment clearly stated that it's likely that members of both parties during their tenures in DC have interacted with various Russians. It's likely most of those were of an official capacity. However, some could be nefarious. We've seen over the years that there have been politicians of both parties whose below the surface dealings belie their public persona.

With regard to Alcatraz, I mentioned it in response to OKSTATE1 suggestion to build a new prison for anyone (dem, repude, or establishment) undermining our Constitution and laws or selling out the US. Why put anyone convicted of the above in a fancy new prison? If they did they need to be placed in a hellhole and not Club Fed. Alcatraz, in its current dilapidated squalid condition is a suitable place for them.

Fair point.

I did take your statement as to "many questionable interactions with Russians dating back decades which could be exposed." and interpreted "questionable interactions" to mean illegal conduct leading to prosecution.

Mea culpa. Apologies. My bad.

Money talks. Too many "leaders" of our country love their bank accounts more than they love their country.
