You don't see how these things are different?
(Jimmy was wrong, btw.)
Finally! Someone just says what they mean.I support a temporary ban on immigration from Muslim countries.
What about the Christians in these countries?
That runs counter to what many have been calling for here and across the country. They would be banned. It's quite simple.
If you check back a while ago, I posed questions about the amount of destruction that would be allowable/necessary to destroy ISIS.@Adverpoke you seem to be getting upset at those wanting to ban Muslims (which I agree with you on) but why are you not equally as pissed at the administration for not at least identifying the problem and looking into a way to solve it. Obama has at least a year left so why not have his people work on a plan to solve this issue instead of an Executive order on stricter gun laws which won't ease the fears of Americans. Both Obama and Trump are idiots. One (Obama) for being such a stubborn fool he is going to push his agenda no matter what. The other (Trump) is feeding off the fears of Americans also. Only he tells you the only way to solve the issue is to ban everyone. Both are wrong and neither have a solution that works. My question is why will know one take this issue on and actually look into what would help fix the problem? My answer to it is I think no one wants it fix. Leading by fear has been done for a very long time. I would just like to see America proactive for once instead of reactive in every situation.

My proposals were not pretty in that thread.

This is a good point, especially when doing so he effectively sent them to death. The US government has already refused asylum to Chaldeans who made it to Mexico on their own.

What's the barometer to determine if a country is Islamic? Is there a percent? Governing laws?
The Christians from these countries should absolutely be moved here tomorrow...Arab Christians are widely successful here and fully integrate...they tend to be conservative and very religious and all around great citizens.
Congressman Justin Amash is a great example of this.
I don't have the answer but it's obvious that the vetting process now is a joke. The Boston bombers and the SB duo were well known long before their terrorist acts and the governmental authorities failed to intercede. In the case of the SB duo the government shut down investigations into them due to political correctness.I don't think their success as immigrants is the question. The obvious question to me is how do you vet them and prove they aren't terrorist plants.
This administration has been shameful in their lack of support for persecuted people of various religions in predominately muslim countries and are actively keeping them out while expanding muslim immigration. I don't get that. I guess religious non-muslims don't vote democrat. The Christians from these countries should absolutely be moved here tomorrow...Arab Christians are widely successful here and fully integrate...they tend to be conservative and very religious and all around great citizens.
