To Amend the Constitution requires 3/4 of the states.

We've heard for 7 years that Obama would confiscate the guns..

Any of you staunchies had your guns confiscated yet?

These are the most bogus straw men issues of all time.

I know of gangs of white guys in tx and Oklahoma who have hideouts, armed like an army, to take down the federal government coming after thier guns...Where's the evidence?

Can anybody on this board not buy all the weapons and ammo they want?
Where would the funding come from to confiscate firearms?

Actually--Obama's been the best pres in history for firearm industry and 2nd Amendment.. All he's ever called for were waiting pd and background checks..

A high percentage of gun control restrictions, mostly promulgated in Democrat jurisdictions, when subjected to higher court revuew, have been wholly or partially overturned as being in violation of the 2nd Amendment. It's no secret that most Democrats that are prominent on the national stage would like to greatly increase gun control by statute, regulations, and by administrative body back door measures. So, clearly the Democrat leadership is in favor of actions contrary to the 2nd Amendment.

I know you're easily confused, but you really shouldn't confuse hasn't with has not been allowed to. Barry has made his wishes very clear. He doesn't casually cite Australia in his speeches.

You were raging about this topic - following your leadership who was trying to do a damn sight more than "call for a waiting period and background checks" - both of which already existed.

I would respect you (like I respect Bernie) if you were honest (like Bernie) about what you are and just admitted that Obama couldn't YET pass what he and you really wanted, and ultimately failed to pass anything. Because the NRA made him their bitch - not because he didn't want any drastic gun laws. Sys at least remained consistent about his stance on assault rifles. You just disappeared when Obama's gun control boner went flaccid.

You have zero credibility on this topic, and although I am strongly against several of Ted's positions, he's right on this one.

You might want to double check your statement. You're probably technically correct with the language "writing out," but since that logically refers to repeal, your statement is very false.

He had several fake names. Pokedady was one of them I believe. The best was when he would log on to one of the fake ones to agree with the real one. It was obvious because of the multiple edits in a 5 word response. Of course, now, he just replied to himself.

There's little doubt an Obama nominee would be on board to overturn the Heller decision, the McDonald decision. This would effectively render the 2nd Amendment null.
