Hey WrestleStat fans. Here's our latest installment of rankings. We actually had these ready yesterday, but I forgot to post about it....

It's great having the coaches' rankings alongside the RPI rankings.

Looking at those rankings, the Big12 is really weak at 149. G is the highest at #14 and there are only 2 other guys in the top 30 (Edmond #17, Degen #19). The highest guy G will hit is Murin at #10.

The NCAA has announced the first coaches ranking for the 2022 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.

I think McDougal is going to be tough at the Big 12s. I know Kaden just beat him bad, but I like him a lot. He doesn’t have the RPI because he hasn’t wrestled as much matches as others. He’s only 12-4.

I agree about McDougald. Quite frankly, I thought he would give G a much better match. Maybe he was a bit overwhelmed with being on the big stage.
