My dad had me shipped off in his mind during high school but reconstructive knee surgery from a football injury left screws in my knee and the recruiter said no go. I love my life right now but it would have kept me out of a lot of trouble I imagine if I had been able to join.

Let's not forget the military spouses and families. They sacrifice as well.

Thanks to all that support our military. The giving back from the community since 911 has been enormous and not appreciated enough as well.

Spouse served without taking the oath. Personally I think all military spouses deserve some major props and a medal from the POTUS on members retirement.
