Finally bought the Talisker Distiller's Edition. Got a great deal at Total Wine in Dallas - $65.99. As someone who isn't in to huge peetiness, this is a good transition single malt for me. The sherry cask flavor smooths it out nicely.

It looks like the rare tasting tickets are gone already but the VIP (which get you in an hour earlier) and regular session tickets are still available.Is it too late to get into this? Cost? Etc

Are they still sourcing that rather than distilling themselves?I have Whistle Pig 12 and 15 at my house and had a tasting of the Boss Hog edition. Outstanding stuff.
