When government runs healthcare……

Some of you are getting to the age where you get to expereince government run healthcare at it's best. At certain ages Medicare no longer pays for certain test or procedures. While I'm not saying that is good or bad the fact government has the ability to control what healthcare you do or do not get is something I'm severely uncomfortable with.
Watching Democrats and their voters lack of reaction to the weaponization of government against political enemies causes concerns they will further expand this in the future if they can maintain power. Imagine being denied a life saving saving treatment for one of your kids because you have a differing political viewpoint? You can say that is ridiculous if you like but we said the same thing several years ago about the weaponization of government against political opponents. Look how that's working out.

Yep. And never let any condescending British prick tell you that they are anything other than subjects (as opposed to citizens). Is there any doubt that the outcome of this case would have been quite different if Baby Indi were of royal or noble birth?

The English people I've talked to are happy with their healthcare until you start telling them about the American system. They are always astonished to find out we can get a specialist appointment so quickly. Talked with once really nice young girl that was a physical therapist. She explained that physical therapy appointments were, if you were lucky, 6 months out. One thing I did like was the fact you can get pain killers with codeine over the counter. I did something to my back on the first day and was eating those things like candy.

I don’t doubt any of that, but what makes the story particularly maddening is that Baby Indi’s further treatment would be at no additional cost to the British government. Nevertheless, some prick in a black robe (and I guess a fa ggoty wig, too) is ordering her to die. It’s as though they’re afraid the treatment in Italy might be successful. Hmmmmmm, hydroxychloroquine anyone?
