Yeah. you didn't post any new updates. Old news.
I did find this quote interesting....
In a statement on Sunday, Hikind said he is still skeptical that wind was a factor in the damaged gravestones. Hikind said in part, "So strong winds hit this section and left the other ones alone? I find that hard to believe. Something is definitely not kosher."
I'm with Hikind. Seems very sketchy. Just like some seem to think it is sketchy that the Fresno killings were hate crimes and not terrorism.
But, we digress. I am still looking for an answer as to why we even need Trump's travel ban and why we are still wasting time on it within the court system.
1). He claimed that we need "extreme vetting"
2). He claimed that we needed the travel ban until we "could figure out what is going on".
3). His original proposed ban was for 90 days and 7 specific countries (120 days for Syria, I think)
4). His revised ban removed Iraq from the list.
5). If you combine all of the above information, it appears that the plan was to stop travel while the current vetting procedures are evaluated and made more extreme, so as to protect U.S. citizens. We have all been led to believe that terrorists might be "pouring in" to our country from those 7(6) countries.
6). Either the threat to security is overblown, or the vetting procedures are being reviewed
right now, while the ban is tied up in court.
7). Since the original, proposed, ban was for 90 (120) days, they should be close to finishing their review of the vetting by now.
8). If Trump is waiting to evaluate the vetting, until he gets his travel ban in place, then he is endangering all of us. If there are holes, they could have been plugged by now.
