If Tulsi Gabbard teamed up with Howard Schultz as his announced VP candidate. Schultz has disavowed the hard left turn of the Democratic Party, while Tulsi is a moderately left liberal with huge antiwar bonafides. I haven't voted since 1972, but that's a team I might be persuaded to support. I suspect the Democratic Party would explode in indignation.

There's certainly a third way emerging with the sunlight created by the vacancy of the Dem party.

They are way..........way...........over there (squints and points).

Dan...... the dumb is just running down your pant leg this morning. No one serious about America’s future wants either for president or Vice President Gabbard is another Russophile whose campaign hasn’t even official launched yet Its already melting down. Schultz is another egoticstical business man who has no business running our government. You can continue to waste your vote on whomever but the idea that Tulsi and Schultz would explode the Democratic Party is pure idiocy.

Maybe. But I'm not as sure about it as you. Gabbard never had a chance, anybody with half a brain knows that. For that matter neither does Schultz. Surely you don't dispute the Democratic Party has walked way out on the radical left gangleft. The party's roots, at least in my lifetime, had been moderately left and strong antiwar. Today's party is far removed from those attitudes. Schultz and Gabbard together would be an attempt to bring the party back toward its roots. Considering the reaction garnered by Schultz's participation and remarks, it makes sense to me there would be a meltdown of epic proportions if they teamed up and hit the stump. It would give many people who are disgusted with Trump but suspicious of any Democrat an opportunity to voice their disgust and suspicion. No, I disagree with you, there's no dumb running down my pant leg.

Gabbard is another Russophile

What? Why do you say these things?!

Agree. I don't get the Schultz deal -- have yet to talk to one dem that is even remotely considering that guy. I can't think of a worse time for campaign of a white, male billionaire to talk about a fresh approach to government. Hell even The country isn't gonna kiss his ass or defer to him because he made lots of money.

Morning Joe asked him how much a box of cheerios cost and he apparently had no idea.

Quick, sys! How much does a box of Cheerios cost? Don't look it up. Give your answer on the spot!

Gabbard is a walking Kremlin talking point. Her foreign policy lines up with that of Putin and our enemies. She went on a secret trip to meet Assad without our governments approval. She is another in a long proud line of poison pills from the Democratic Party. No thanks.

I mean it is one box of Cheerios, Michael, How much could it cost? 10 dollars?

No, I wouldn't expect a true party believer such as you to support her. I'm thinking more along the lines of people who pay scant attention to the daiIy grind of government, but are sickened by what they see, in both domestic and foreign policy. In the party's eyes she is damaged goods because she advocates for American disengagement from most of the wars the two parties have gotten us into. Since Putin advocates for the same thing it makes perfectly logical sense that she is another un-American puppet. No, she couldn't possibly have reached an independent conclusion after service in the war and seeing with her own eyes what a horror war is, unlike most people whose notion of war is what they see in the movies, heroes and all.

So you are a Democrat now?
