Mine would be fire every elite university graduate from public office. Just to be fair I would suggest Lincoln's methodology and fire 3/4 of the beurocarcy. Start from scratch and eliminate positions that are not needed. If you want to know who is not needed just say we are broke and all non essential personnel need to stay home. Then make it permanent.

Vivek Ramaswamy has a very simple plan - flip a coin if it's heads you lay off all the even SSN's, tails and it's bye bye Odd SSN's - a very simple down sizing. Then start firing deadwood until you're down to 25% of the original number.

The constitution tells us what congress is allowed to do in the enumerated powers. About 95% of what gubmint does is unconstitutional. Restrict the bureaucracy to constitutional duties and 95% + of them are gone.

Its not anarchy. Its actual federalism with the States in charge of most things and the national gubmint small and insignificant in most peoples everyday lives. Basically, roads, military and making sure the States play nice with each other and respect individual rights (not to be confused with licentiousness .)
