I don't know very many people that answer the phone when an unfamiliar number pops up. So, if you are a pollster using a robocallout device, you may not be getting responses from a good cross section of America.

Twitter and Facebook have proven to be very hackable.

What will be the best mechanism going forward?

IMO, today will be very telling. If Republicans smash the blue wave I just dont see where polls even make a difference anymore.
