We were led to believe that our team was a favorite to win the conference and a spot in the playoffs. We were led to believe we had the deepest and most experienced offensive line. Some magazines said our oline was among the top 10 in the nation. We were believing that Ollie was going to be the best running back in the country again. Our defense was supposed to be much better. None of these have proven to be true. In fact, our offensive and defensive lines are much worse. Unless things dramatically change, this team is headed for a losing season for the first time since 2005. I hope that doesn’t happen, but if it does, changes in the staff must be made. We’re paying elite salaries. There are many teams that would probably beat us with fewer resources and less spent on coaches salaries.
