You think that if a patient said that they did want him to visit them that the hospital would have overridden their request?
City officials asked him to wait (it’s not like preparing a city for a presidential motorcade is a 10-minute thing).
Trump has fans who knew...I’m sure there were plenty booing him and/or protesting him. Same for Obama, same for Bush, same for Bill. That’s how politics work lol
Yeah. I don't see why this video is a big deal. We all know that he has a lot of people who really love him, all over the country. I know a lot of people who would treat Obama the same way. I know a lot that would treat Mark Cuban the same way. Or Oprah. Or GW Bush. etc
Because that kind of video is censored by people who tell you they only report the facts.
I think it's more in line that under past presidents the media would go out of their way to show these videos to humanize the president. Under Trump, the media either completely avoids or minimizes these stories as humanizing Trump runs counter to their narrative.

It is a video from someone's cell phone, though. Generally they will use their own videos of coverage of an event when they have a choice.
It's the kind of video you see on facebook or twitter. Not so much on newscasts. And, not solely because of the content. I think that would have been true for Obama, also.
I think that's the difference though. They would have been present under Obama to get their own video. But somehow that's not the case here.
Maybe. Clearly the people in the video knew the POTUS was coming that way and were waiting for him. It was in a hospital, so there are probably limitations to who is allowed in certain areas. You probably don't want a circus in the hallways of certain parts of the hospital.
I could see CNN setting up a moment like that for Obama (maybe in the hospital lobby, or right outside the hospital).
Was that video shown on FOXnews? It seems to me that for your argument to hold water, they would have had to show the video, or set up something similar.
That's fair. I have no idea what's on the news lately. Spent the last 10 days in Manila and Chennai. Actually sitting in JFK airport posting on my phone waiting for my flight back to Tampa.
