What are the chances...

How can there not be with a country of 320 million

Agreed. I don’t think that particular bon mot of mine was pearls of wisdom or eloquence or anything....it was more just responding to Phil’s question about “beneficial to the whole country” question.

I don't think Obamacare is beneficial to anyone.

There are 20 million people who have gained health insurance since 2010.

Over the years, I have had co-workers and employees who have suffered with physical ailments for years, simply because they had no health insurance and could not afford to go to the doctor. For them, gaining access to health insurance has been life changing.

As JD noted, there are almost always winners and losers when new legislation is passes. (I think I am going to try to squeeze in extra "as JD noted" comments in the future. )

No I'm not wrong. My wife has preexisting conditions.

I went a year without insurance just to avoid the costs while my wife was insured. But now I have to carry something just in case something comes up and she needs another surgery.

When you have a family to look after and support with a wife that has half a pancreas and a tumor on the remaining half come talk to me.
Sorry, Phil.

Diet Coke Brain

It’s a case study in itself.

But now that he has articulated his point, you don’t have to read between the lines , now you and all reasonable people can admit that his stance on illegal immigrants can be categorized as “anti” and The legal group he is for.

The fact that you take what Donald Trump says at face value, about anything, is telling.

What’s that term thrown around? Ahhh yes....NPC

What quote in the cited article are you contending proves whatever you think it proves?

And why should I just accept at face value anything the other Diet Coke Brain at face value? I thought I was supposed to take what he says seriously, but not literally...4D chess....yada yada yada.

It’s in the video.

I guess you could continue to choose between literal and not just based on what’s the most antagonistic toward trump.

As can you based upon what’s the most agreeable and favorable toward Trump..

I am antagonistic towards Pretty much all politicians and political figures. I was when Obama was President and even before then. I am by nature cynical and incredulous of any claims.

Words and actions both matter.

Still having trouble identifying the quote proving he’s engaged in a huge push for legal immigration.

“Huge push” were your words.

Hell...I’ll admit to being generally antagonistic, incredulous, and cynical by nature in general.

His DACA compromise was a huge push and perpendicular to his base.

No it wasn’t, and you know he is presently headed to the Supreme Court for an order allowing him to just get rid of it, right?

Have you not read art of the deal? Your observations of trump would be a lot more clear. Obviously he is trying to get rid of it so congress will compromise and secure the border. 4d chess isn’t for everyone.

4D chess or Diet Coke Brain.

Pick one.

Yes, I’ve read Art of the Deal. Tony Schwartz is a helluva ghost writer.
