Absolutely must not have #23 as the primary ball handler at the end of games. He’s a turnover machine and can’t hit free throws. At any level of the game that type of player doesn’t possess the ball during crunch time. The ball must run through Ice at the end of games. And I hate to beat up players too much but obviously DD shouldn’t be playing in the big 12. I actually don’t fault the kid, his coach is calling the number to go out there. Obviously no one wants to hear this but we must remain patient. We are still limited with options out there, might have bodies, but doesn’t mean they are good options to win games. Boynton had a rough night, needs to watch tape and talk to his assistants about how to not duplicate this coaching performance.
