Just curious if that was the plan and why you would want to do that. If my memory is correct, when we got into field goal range we just started killing the clock with run plays going no where.
I know our passing was suspect at that point, but I thought our best chance of winning was ending it there.
We did get bailed out, but I wouldn't want to depend on that happening in future games.
Is it the general consensus that we were playing for OT at that point?
