It's called borderline personality disorder. Trump winning the presidency feels the same to them emotionally as him personally showing up and assaulting them.
I am a Republican and I felt like I had been punched in the gut when Trump won, and he has done absolutely nothing to change that feeling, in fact , with each day it gets worse

I never said I felt bad about my party affiliation, just the candidate, he is not a Republican. To me it was very obvious that he just fed people what they wanted to hear, he can't actually do much of anything he promised during the election. My opinion all along was that Clinton would not change anything, but that Trump is dangerous and I still feel that way.

Who did you want to win? Trump; win, lose or draw has shaken the tree and I sincerely love the blood letting from the left and right. He says outrageous things often, don't care for the litany of twitter stuff and think he has squandered some of the goodwill his election brought him. But here is one irrefutable fact....miners are going back to work, job crippling regulations are going to be rolled back, a plethora of illegals will get their sorry law breaking asses kicked back to their country of origin, the largest scam (MMGW) since maybe Enron is going to be strangled in the crib and so on. People have and will forget/forgive him about dumb tweets and statements til the cows come home, as long as he delivers us from the crap the ex rodent in chief (Bush too) pushed on the normal, hard working and patriotic citizens of the awesome country.
Absolutely no one feared (respected) the ex rodent in chief...we'll okay Reggie Love did fear he would find another bath house partner. He would have been out of his depth in a 1cm deep puddle. If people perceive Trump as unhinged/crazy/ unpredictable you can bet they will thing thing through way deeper then say if Trump says "there is a red line."

I would have rather seen Clinton win, no question in my mind. As I said, IMO President Trump is dangerous. One of the big points for me was that there was never question who the Russians wanted to win, and I am in no way saying there was any collusion between President Trump's campaign and the Russians, just that the Russians wanted Trump to win. ANYONE who has studied the Russians, their way of thinking , their military, their goals, everything about them, that should have put up a huge red flag. Since the inception of NATO, the Russians have tried to destabilize the alliance, they wanted the US to have a leader that has no clue, one that they can manipulate.............well, they have one now .............

Hillary "I landed under sniper fire" Clinton is at least equal to that and I would actually put her on a much higher plateau then Trump. I will say as a previous service member there is no one I abhor more (save child molesters & rapists) then someone who lies about military service, attempting to join the military but was turned down or about being shot at by hostiles. They are 100% reprobates and an affront to every man, women and child who has served.
The rest is conjecture...how do you know the Russians prefer Trump. Trump didn't tell a Russian "hey after I'm elected I'll have more latitude," or "re-neg on a missle shield in Poland." Factually they had no problems doing what they wanted when the the ex-rodent in chief was around, with or without his carpet much SOS. If fact if Trump is dangerous/crazy I would think that would give potential belligerents pause.
I'm not sure Europe is even worth saving (save The UK) anyway. They seem to be hellbent on letting non-assimilating, under educated cultists ruin their countries heritage and future. No way the dump is worth our sons & daughters blood again.

First, referring to a former President with a childish nickname is the stuff I would expect from my 6 year old Grandson, you don't have to respect him, but please respect the office he held.
NATO right now is the most important organization in the world, most people have no idea all the stuff that NATO does, they are involved in a lot of stuff that is not put into the public domain. If NATO were to break up we would have to increase our defense spending by a huge amount, because one way or another we have to help defend Europe, and without NATO, Russia would have huge economic and political influence over Western Europe. Every NATO member has agreed to allow the use of Nuclear weapons over their territory, if needed , for the good of the rest of Europe, so they do pay more than their fair share one way or another. I have been privy to the NATO defense strategies, and I can assure you, no matter how many dollars the US has to pay into NATO, its nothing compared to the price the European members have to pay. Aside from the defense of Europe, just being able to deploy assets from our bases in NATO to to other parts of the world saves a lot of money over having to deploy form CONUS.....Probably our most important base in the world is Incirlik, in SE Turkey, its a huge base 30 miles form the Syrian border able to accommodate hundreds of aircraft and personnel.......a few minute flight from the hot spots.........
As Far as the Russians favoring President Trump, that is who they helped, so they obviously favored him. They will run circles around him politically. Whether you liked Clinton or not, the one thing she did was be very tough on Putin and Russia.

We don't have to defend anything except the US and Canada. Actual that small area gives us excellent interior lines of communication. The only thing I'm concerned about in Europe is the graves of our service members and the desecration that would/will occur when their societies implode.
As far as everyone agreeing to nuke themselves, that looks great on paper and is a fabulous sound bite, but sorry not buying it. Besides by the time it comes to that point, the Russians will have people in place to prevent that from happening. And IF someone did manage to cook one off, do you seriously believe that others would follow and basically slaughter their fellow citizens wholesale to keep the Russians out. BALONEY! You still didn't lay any definitive proof on me as to how or why Putin wanted Trump to win. So am going to assume your NATO connections have given you something that's not public knowledge yet.

Anyone who actually follows this stuff knows that things changed, each administration was on friendly terms with Russia during certain times, Mrs. Clinton got on bad terms with them when she accuse Putin of having his political opponents killed. We are still on good terms in some ways. We get all of our enriched Plutonium for RTGs from the Russians still and are planning joint US-Russian Venus mission, but that is on another level
