Not trying to be a homer for Weeden...but if you have lost everything..and you know your QB is comfortable in spread and shotgun. Why wouldn't you put him in that situation?
Seriously, the running game is like watching our running game. I'm sure I am wrong, but when they spread 4 wide (with limited receivers at that) and had Escobar split, he seemed comfortable.
They got no shot in my opinion otherwise. Cassel isn't coming in and sparking the run game. Everyone is going to load the box.
