Washington Post fake news about guns (suppressors)

Any of you guys have permanent tinitus from firing guns without hearing protection as a kid? I know I do.

Suppressors really eliminate that danger without creating a new danger by taking away your ability to hear entirely like most hearing protection does.

I wonder if anyone has a reasonable position on why firearm suppressors should be regulated. Movies have done a great job of misrepresenting what a gun muffler really does.

I always have a loud ringing in my ears. Never stops. I have went through the hoops on most cool stuff but this is one I have never jumped through. Kinda dumb that they act like we will all be assassins with our suppressors. lol

When I went to the sheriff's office to get fingerprinted the lady deputy acted like I was getting registered to own dynamite. Said something about we have to be careful about who "we let own" suppressors. I just bit my tongue. Figured it wasn't the time or place to lecture someone.
