Washington Post Fact Checker: Rubio gun law statement

That analysis like many others continue to prove the point that it's the person using the weapon who is the boogie man---not the weapon. The weapon is merely the instrument used by the person to wreak havoc on innocent people. As we have seen, others who choose to comment these acts have done so with cars, knifes and other non-gun objects. Until we decide to go after the person and what causes (mental illness, radical religious beliefs, etc.) them to do these things we will continue to witness these events.

That's going to make some gun control nerds heads explode.

I've said this many times but I'll repeat it, with over 300 million people and just as many guns in this country there is no way to ever pass laws that would affect anything.

Where everyone needs to put their focus is on severe punishment for people who misuse guns and other weapons.

Shocking. Current and proposed legislation would have been / were ineffective.

Here's the thing. Nobody expects legislation to work. The ultimate goal is to confiscate and disarm completely, and every layer of bullshit psychobabble "common sense" legislation makes the next layer possible, and since nothing will ever work, there will always be an incident to exploit for further legislation until we are Europe lite.

"Wh.. Wh... What's wrong with Europe?" Stammers @syskatine.

It's been explained already.

Yes, try to explain away/ marginalized/laugh off/avoid the experience of other western democracies that have gun control. Not third world countries, or cartel-ran countries, but advanced democracies like us. Focus on one town or a hypothetical or ass-picking Cato Institute theories. You and Alex jones just suck and evade the obvious, real world example of effective gun control.

I know -- Belgium has more muggings, there was a terror attack in Paris and Europe isn't us. I can write your script.

Name some. Cite some evidence. It can't be that hard since the real world has some (allegedly). I'm sure there are no contextual factors that you'll miss in whatever propaganda you puke up.

Also, I don't have a script and barely know who Alex Jones is and wouldn't know how or where to consume his points of view. I'm a free thinking American, bud. I know that is scary for you to consider, that I genuinely don't drink anyone's Koolaid.

Find data on mass shootings in Europe in particular. Don't give me bullshit that includes suicides. Any depressed jackoff can jump off a bridge as easily as shoot himself. Give me data that PROVES gun control specifically stops gun violence. And if you are going to discredit terrorism in France, you need to discredit gang violence in America.

I can't wait to see what you post. If you make a sentient point, I'll definitely acknowledge it and I'll read it with an open mind. Just don't bring me propaganda because I'll set that shit on fire and you know it.
