Approximately 1200 per day. The Caravan is currently approximately 3500 people, over 1000 miles away, and on foot. #scary

Please oh wise one will you tell us how many miles away and the size of the group we can be scared of? Set the parameters for outrage for us. Is it 200 miles and 20,000 people? 50,000 and 25 miles? Give us rubes something that will guide us so we can be as compassionate as you.

So do we have you and Obama’s and shep smith’s permission to be concerned about them?

Today obama described them as malnourished. Too weak to be criminals. How do you people fall for this?

- walking hundreds/thousands of miles
- swam a river into Mexico
- poor

They’re malnourished and weak, period. Don’t be a fvcking dumbass, Harry. Try really hard today lol

How much is spent in medical aid by American taxpayers for illegal immigrants?

How much in foreign aid do we donate?

You f'ers are like taking my kids to Target. "I want that and that and that and that and we better get something for my brother." Zero idea how the finances work, I'm just expected to pay.

Quit throwing shit in my basket.

-The troops being sent to the border can only be mobilized up to 45 days.
-The caravan is currently "several weeks away" from the border at their current pace.
-They can not actively interact with any migrants at the border. They can only provide support for border control agents (i.e. erect tents on our side of the border, transport agents, staffing command centers).

This is just an optics driven political stunt. You are gobbling up the narrative like it is candy, PeeWee.

Do our enemies know the commander and chief can only protect our border for forty five days?

Again how close do they need to be to for our military to begin training with the border patrol on the border?

Training? Who's training who? Are they teaching border patrol agents how to do their job? Are the agents teaching the military guys how to set up tents? Do you think the military guys know the border patrol's jobs better than the guys who have already been trained to patrol the border.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm seriously curious as to what you think they are actually going to be doing and how the two units are going to be interacting with each other. I haven't done the research, so educate me.

Answer my questions please and I’ll answer yours. We would be dealing with an information trade deficit and we don’t want that.

The US military is barred from using its capabilities directly to enforce US domestic laws — including immigration laws — unless Congress specifically authorizes it to do so. This measure, known as “posse comitatus,” is why US troops can only support US border agents, but not take direct action themselves.

O’Shaughnessy on Monday said the military will conduct all of its operations at the border “in adherence to posse comitatus.”

The Pentagon will foot the bill for the deployment. It’s unclear how much it will cost, but so far the military paid $185 million to send 2,000 National Guard troops to the border earlier this year.
