Taking a guys trip in June so looking for a few places to try. Definitely want one of the restaurants to be more upscale but the rest of the time casual places are fine.

What do you fine gentlemen recommend? The group and I are not picky about the type of cuisine.

The Buffet of Buffets was my jam a couple of weeks ago!

But, the fine stuff is at Craftsteak, Cut, and Twist. All three are suppose to be fantastic, but I can only speak for Cut (was great).

Try the Golden Steer. It's a great steak house from 1950s Vegas. Favorite hangout of the rat pack and tons of other celebrities. The booths have pictures and plaques noting which celebrity sat in that particular booth. Kinda kitschy but the food is great and the decor is vintage Vegas.

Craftsteak is phenominal. The Mrs. and I ate there around 2010 or so and agreed that it might be the best steakhouse we've ever eaten at. It was over $400 for the two of us, but that included a $50 glass of wine as well as much more food than we could possibly eat (we wanted to try as many different items as possible).

I would highly recommend eating there.

Nobu in Ceasers is an awesome sushi/Japanese steakhouse. @tcpoke can tell you more, he got a bunch of weird stuff there.

SW in the Wynn is a phenomenal steakhouse with maybe the best view and atmosphere in LV.

I should look at this board more often.

Yardbird has been mentioned and I want to second that. Really great.

In no particular order.

If you love fine dining French you have to try Joel Robuchon.

Donut bar

Hash house is probably a little overrated but you have to go once.

Morimoto is and always will be excellent

Really like Bruxie for breakfast too

Jose Andres place at cosmopolitan is an experience not to be missed.

Joe's in caesars is great.

Skinny fats

earl of sandwich

I'll think of more.

Depends on what you're looking for. Its definitely not your fancy five star experience. I always just get the steak and eggs and have never been disappointed. Good food decent price. That last part is have to find in Vegas.

You food snobs probably wouldn't be impressed with most of the Vegas restaurant I eat at.

Gordon Ramseys in Planet Hollywood has a great burger.

Wynn, Caesar Palace and Bellagio all solid Buffets.

For your more upscale guys it seems every celebrity chef in America has something A lot depends on whether you are will to spend $100 a meal. I'm not really looking for that.

For breakfast, the wife and I like Mona Mi Gabi at Paris Casino. The service is excellent and the food is good. They have a patio on which you can dine and it's great for people watching if the weather is nice. We also like Hash House A Go Go. The food is good and a bit different with huge quantities.

For lunch, we like a place called Tacos El Gordo south of Encore on LVB. They have street style tacos but the thing to get is the Carne Asada fries. We also like to go to Shake Shack and Bobby Flay has a burger place called Bobby's Burger Palace that is good.

For dinner Lotus of Siam is our favorite as has been mentioned before and we also really like a place called Border Grill in Mandalay Bay. Border Grill also has an awesome Sunday Brunch if you are into that.

For buffets, it begins and ends at the Wynn. I have been to them all and I don't think anything else comes close. I'm always surprised when I hear people say that something else is close because I don't think anything can touch it.

We're not a fan of the high end places. We've been to both Cut and Craftsteak and wouldn't go back. We thought Cut was better than Craftsteak if you are into that. I just think it's a personal thing. I'd rather eat at a greasy food truck than a white tablecloth steakhouse. To each his own.

Was there last summer and Table 10 was my favorite (An Emeril restaurant).

Tacos El Gordo on Las Vegas ave.
Battista's Hole in the Wall for Italian
The wife really liked the Sugar Factory

You're welcome.

Very familiar with both places!! Enjoyed them both, especially Tacos el Gordo!!

What is sugar factory??
Where are you staying @Ostate4life ? MAGA or casino hotel?

Staying at the Venetian this trip. Have previously stayed at Bally's, Mirage, and Cosmo. Trump is too far off the beaten path for me although I hear it is very nice.

Love tacos el gordo and the Wynn buffet as well as Hash House!! If you like the Wynn buffet you should try Caesars, it is excellent but pricy.

I'm not big on high end places either but the rest of the group wants to go to one so I'll deal with it.

Who has the best Pho and/or Thai in Vegas? I'll be there June 16th weekend.
