I think he is limited in how much he can really help us.
@Wally12 made a great point in that in the NBA, he will have other players who can make things happen and put the basket in the hoop.
He is not the type of player who can overcome a double team. Very few can.
The announcers pointed out that 3 of the last 5 number one picks did not go to the tournament.
When we went to the Final Four back in 2004, we had FOUR players who made it to the NBA, and two who played for a decent length of time.
There is no one else on this team who can make the NBA right now. MAM maybe, but he is a good 3 years away.
Cade cannot carry the team against the better Big 12 teams. He couldn’t even do it against TCU tonight.
An assist doesn’t happen unless the receiving player makes the shot. Somehow, these guys have to get exceedingly better in the next three days.
