Oddly enough, in a recent poll, it was determined that 100% of the people who died trying to retake what was already won believe it was Obama's fault that they had to die in the first place.

Excellent news. When you get a count on the casualties of Iraqi soldiers and civilians that were killed/maimed in the retaking of the city, please let us know so we can dance around and celebrate that as well.

What poeple are trying to point out is that the most recent fighting and death to retake these Iraqi cities and teritorry wouldn't have been necessary if President Obama had left a residual force in Iraq like his generals advised.
What you righties fail to grasp--a residual force would have meant US casualties on Isis turf.

What you fail to grasp is that Obama pulled out too early, like his dad should've.
That is just flat out stupid. ISIS doesn't need one US Soldier to motivate them. I know this is what the left tells themselves to make themselves feel better about Obama screwing the pooch in the middle east but if it were true why didn't the US abandoning Iraq keep them out? Why are they still chopping off heads and crucifying children?
I have career military in my immediate family, 12 years US Army tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am told they don't know a single person in the rank and file Army who has an ounce of respect or even likes President Obama. They believe he hates the military and is a complete incompetent.
The people who served in Iraq know that defending Iraq and giving the Iraqi's a backbone would of cost some lives but they also are disgusted so many of their brothers gave their blood sweat and lives to stabilize that country and Obama threw it all away.
Blame Bush all you want but you can't undo what is already done and to throw away all the gains in Iraq for some political legacy of being a "peace" maker is disgusting to a lot of people and most of the military.

Obama will never send in American troops to fight punk thug JVers. Let their daddies and fellow countrymen deal with it. First even if it is 1/3 that is a low number. I'm sure there are a number of people in the military that support the President. Just like in the general populous there are many people who see President Obama has a significant historical figure and are so vested in wanting him to be successful they can't see all his faults and failures. He is a significant historical figure, he has also been a bad President who wouldn't get anything done if he didn't ignore current law or force change through unconstitutional executive order.
