I just received an update from 23andme from my $99 Dec., 2018 saliva sample. 23andme has added Angola and Nigeria to my Sub Saharan African. They have removed Liberia. Congo remains.
I've done considerable research on Family Tree, 23andme and Ancestry. Poor accuracy. They become more accurate as their data base grows. Few American Indians participate. The whole country would need to be tested to match the accuracy of Genelex Labs in Seattle where I payed $600 in 2008.
Genelex Labs no longer does ethnicity testing after an Australian lab's lawsuit claiming infringement on patented testing methods. Genelex is the Oprah Winfrey and a number of celebrities lab for ethnicity testing.
