Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based.”

So this week we nominated judges that don't know what a motion in limine is and demand conformity from scientists in their vocabulary, I guess in the interest of ideology.

Example # 46,789 of modern conservatism in action. MAGA.

Meh. I'll wait until there's more than just two anonymous people talking to a reporter as the evidence/proof.

You're just jealous of Dr's.
Here's you some jealously.

Lol. Yeah, that must be it.

My best friend is an ER doctor. He regrets taking on the time and debt to become one. He's been a full-time ER doc for 7 years and will be bolting to teach full-time as soon as he gets the opportunity despite the large pay cut he'll take to do it. I have zero regrets about my decision to not go to medical school.

Maybe you can point me to my defense of Biff?

How about a year of constant whataboutism anytime someone is critical of your Dear Leader? And constantly ripping the only elected people that agree with your claimed opinions. And constantly pushing the Biff/fox narrative.

Ahhh, so none. I'm shocked. Absolutely shocked.

LOL as you rail against anything progressive in every other thread, just like Head, Imp, Frank, etc. Indistinguishable.
Ahhh, I rail against anything "progressive." Finally you're actually being honest. I do rail against "progressive" because I'm not of the "progressive" ideology and I see the "progressive" ideology as having a whole bunch in common with the religious right. I'm an old school classical liberal. But you already knew this.

I've made this point about you before, more than once, and you're finally being honest enough to acknowledge it. You're the quintessential obedient partisan. You are driven by your identity with the Democratic Party. You will follow them down any and every rabbit hole because it's who you are.

You trust your political leaders are doing exactly what they say they are and it's as effective and awesome as they say it is and you emphatically reject any notion that they aren't regardless of fact. You routinely provide example after example of this. You see Democratic leaders as nearly infallible. Your ego and ideological identity depends on them being infallible. The thought of them being wrong bothers you because you don't want to be in a position of being wrong yourself. It's almost like a faith to you like religion is to others.

You followed the direction the Democratic Party did under Obama. I didn't. Maybe this will help illustrate the ideoligical differences between you and I.

If this is true, and I unfortunately believe it is, then there is absolutely no excuse for it. It is absurd to a disturbing level. I would love to hear the Trunp voters' excuses for it.

Tribalism 101

Looks like they also frown on the words "malaise," "statism," "slow economic growth," and "foreign policy impotencey." They've also re-allowed the use of "Islamic terrorism."

So the WaPo tells us there is a ban on 7 words and we have to go to snopes.com to realize that is incorrect?
Is there a better place to find out what’s going on in the government than what the government news agency tells us?

I guess a non-denial denial is enough for some on here...

“The seven words that sparked outrage are "vulnerable," "entitlement," "diversity," "transgender," "fetus," "evidence-based and "science-based." CBS News has learned that budget analysts at the CDC were told to consider avoiding those words in order to get the broadest congressional support for funding. That advice came from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).”

I mean, a Trump appointee not being completely truthful about the new direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention? Ya don’t say lol

This may be a bit nuanced for some here...
