I'm in the camp that at first wanted a name hire. Now, if Self or maybe Marshall was coming, I'd be all in with them (but I'd be that way with even Doug bc I love OSU).
Saying that, the more I watch videos and games of SFA, the more I love. That last tip was unfortunate, but if it gets Underwood here sooner, then great. Love the defensive intensity, his 6'3- 6'6 guys who block out like crazy, and the help, switches, traps and recovery out of their base defense. If we got him, I don't even know if he'd leave, even for K-State, no matter how much he bleeds purple. 1) Self and Eddie before his troubles also were huge OSU advocates and they did what was best for their careers. 2) our facilities (not only GIA) and history are better than theirs. 3) Say he signs a 4-5 year contract. He'd be 56-57 by the time that was over. If he really had OSU rocking and rolling, would you leave at that age to basically start over after Bruce Webber is done with their program?
