IF we hire Underwood, I hope the oSu administration will try extremely hard to convince Doug Gottlieb to come home as an assistant. In my opinion, hiring Doug as an assistant would be just as important as hiring Underwood (regarding being able to sustain something created by Underwood and having an ace recruiter on staff). The hiring of Doug would kill 4 birds with one stone. It would allow Doug to get the needed experience, it would make Boone and the students and many others happy that Doug was hired in some capacity, Doug will be an incredible recruiter for the program via his many connections and celebrity type of fame, and it would allow Doug the opportunity to learn under a smart and talented coach so IF Underwood leaves for KSU we would have Doug ready and able to take over the program as head coach. Thoughts?
