I think "exposed" is a strong word in this case.
I think "hinted at the possible existence of" works better in this case.

So you're surprised that posting the content they posted (explicit content involving a child) got them banned? Weird how that works. Almost like they intended that outcome. Redacting the explicit bits must have been too much work...
