twitter and pruitt

This is an agency that has wasted 10's of millions of dollars and has used their power to crush small farmers and ranchers with ridiculous fines. But these brainiacs want the top guy to waste 10 hours of his day riding in a car to Guymon.

In case these idiots didn't know Guymon has one of the largest hog processing operations in the USA. Lot's of environmental issues to deal with out there.

Not a Pruitt fan, but you are probably right in your assessment.

Many many years ago John McCain used an Air Force "Lear Jet" to fly to Arizona during the Keating brouhaha. I called the Pentagon posing as a free lance reporter. I asked for the costs to ferry him to Arizona and back. Several hours later they called back with the costs. Among the costs were per hour costs of operating the airplane, costs of the crew, costs for waiting on the ground for him to do his business and a couple of other costs. As I recall, the costs were similar to Pruitt's costs. Tells me that the taxpayers got a break on Pruitt considering Keating was 30+ years ago.

It was probably after his visit to the Phillips 66 research center in Bartlesville.

I think its great that we are looking at this level of waste in the government. My only ask of the media and others who feign such outrage at this waste, that when the next president is in office (regardless of party) that we maintain this level of diligence and oversight on behalf of the American public. Unfortunately, the cynical version of me says that as soon as an "establishment approved" president is elected, this sudden fascination with government oversight will disappear to the same place its been for at least the past 4 or 5 presidents.

I always wondered where the Walmart-waddling soonerettes went to die; thanks for the info.

So, you suggesting he get a kickback for any cost reductions?

Lots of headlines about the entitled bozos in the Trump Administration...

congrats the snowflake has created an avalanche

you've reached new dumb

that's not a bad amount...not sure if he was alone or had others with him. What is his time worth? You have to figure in his salary and what he impacts on a daily basis in regards to funds spent and saved for the country. Was he able to do all that in a day and get back home to be with family and avoid other expenses of an overnight stay? Did he help the local economy by renting said aircraft? What about the risk of delays in doing it the old fashioned way...airlines. You can't be efficient using the airlines. The tangible and intangible benefits of private aircraft usage are numerous. $14,000 is nothing.

Tears were shed in his house upon learning of the election results. Not just disappointment or frustration....actual tears.

Yes, my youngest daughter shed real tears. I think they were tears of disappointment. Glad you remember that WC.

You here to show me around? How long you been here anyway?

you stretched cost savings into a suggestion of kickback

it's readily apparent you are adept at blazing your own trail of stupidity

if you'd like to stick to the subject matter of whether scott pruitt should or shouldn't fly from tulsa to guymon i'd be happy to discuss

the donna shelton tweet twitter highlighted sums up the stupid

if it wasn't disappointment or frustration it must have been tears of joy

hillary clinton losing the election was one of the best days of my life

trump may be a crass pig, but it's overt and direct

hillary played the electorate for its stupidity and lost
