The YT channel also has several other similar productions - including one from 1890's Paris. Eerie and awesome at the same time. Another one from New York 1911.

Coolest thing to me is the curiosity everyone walking by had with the camera. Nobody notices anyone using their camera phone to record things now, but at that time this must've been very odd to see.

I am just so thankful I wasn't there to smell that! The combination of b.o., horse droppings, open sewers, etc. was probably pretty hard on the olfactory senses.

one thing in common in all 3 videos... a lot of people staring at the camera either very excitedly or thinking WTF is that. Especially the one from Russia in what looked like a police officer string it down like it was a crook ! lol
