I’ll start:

U.S. Senate: GOP net gain = 2 seats

U.S. House: Democrats net gain = 27 seats.

OK Governor: Stitt wins by a fairly narrow margin; I’ll say 3 points.


Bonus prediction: the DJIA breaks through 28,000 before 2019 is over.

House will result in a +2 margin for whoever controls, ill go with Dems as of now.

Rs retain control of Senate.

Ds get control of House.

Stitt never really impressed me but it looks like he was walking in a parade saturday at homecoming....at least there was a picture of him doing it. He seems to have slowed down the ads and exposure these last few days so maybe he knows something...he could win by a large margin or lose a tight one. Don't have a real feel for it but I have a hard time imagining edmondson winning.

Question to the Dems...I agree with most of the prognosis that the Dems pick up 30 or do house seats and gain a small majority. Does Pelosi become speaker? Seems like that would almost be better for Trump in regards to his 2020 campaign then actually holding the house this year.

Not losing the Senate is a pretty big win in my opinion. Normally, the party in power gets hammered in this scenario.

Dems win a majority in house by 1-3 seats, hardly the mandate they will claim given the historical changes previously.....like a blue mist not wave.
Stitt, Cruz, Rick Scott and Josh Hawley all win.

Nah. I thought about it, but decided I can't do it without inserting wishful thinking into my predictions. I notice that most of us wholeheartedly believe the polls that reflect our desires, but think the polls are wrong if they reflect gains on the the other side of the aisle.

I'm just going to wait until Tuesday, cross my fingers and see what happens.

I do expect Beto to at least come away with a moral victory (don't think Cruz will crush him). In my world, it feels like about 70% are behind him and opposed to Lyin' Ted, so it is hard to see Cruz winning. But, I am in a suburban area, and recognize that Texas is a big state, so I know I am not getting a realistic impression of what will end up happening.

Seems like Guns and NZ were the only two on here a couple of years ago predicting a certain Trump victory in the face of loads of disinformation to the contrary.
