Gabbard is the only sane DNC candidate.
Andrew Yang was sounding like a great option when I was watching him the other day. He's a candidate that recognizes real problems and has practical solutions.
Then 30 minutes in he started promoting universal basic income and ruined everything.
I'm confused. You realize she actually supports all (or mist of) the progressive BS with which you don't agree yet you're an unabashed fanboy? That’s where Gabbard has been very clever, IMO. As far as I can tell she is fully on board with a progressive agenda, but she is leaving the goofy talking points to people like Harris. She has staked out a position on a non-interventionist, diplomacy-first agenda, and has stayed on point. She’s letting the rest of the competition see who can publicly out-left each other, while presenting herself as the thoughtful and sane exception.
I don’t expect her to get the nomination, the establishment within the Democrat Party is too connected to our military-industrial overlords. They will never allow such a breach. But it would be glorious if she makes the cut to be involved in the debates, however many there are. Speaking of which: she won’t be invited to the debates unless she can show support (donations) from a certain number of people, I think the number is 65 thousand. So it would be worth it to every one of us to donate $10 to her campaign to get her in the debates. (Hint, hint!)
Let me clarify. I have stated on this board more than once that I regard war & peace to be the most important issue of them all, in many respects more important than all the others combined. For that reason I support Ms. Gabbard with zeal. Should a free-market, individual-liberty candidate appear on the scene with a similar non-interventionist foreign policy I will drop her like a rock and take up the other’s candidacy. But unless that happens I encourage everyone to take her seriously. She deserves to be in the debates. That can only happen if enough people donate as little as $1 to her campaign.I'm confused. Ok, makes sense, I guess, from your point of view. I don't agree at all, but thanks for the explanation.Let me clarify.
