Tensions mount as all eyes are averted on domestic Covid concerns. Sec of State Blinken has wanted war with Russia for years. Looks like he may persuade our demented president to do just that. Has anyone thought of the potential consequences of war with Russia? Tulsi Gabbard has.

Have you ever wondered if the Covid crisis has been used as a smokescreen to cloud our perceptions of where the war mongering neo-cons are taking us?

Oh, it is ridiculous to think our leaders would get us into war with Russia? Well, how about China instead?

Here’s more of Tucker Carlson on our continuous provocation of Russia.

We aren't going to war with Russia over Ukraine. You simply love to fret about crap that might happen but in reality never will.

Bc Trump is only modern Prez to not get us into a new war so what you said makes sense?!

The reality is Biden is as weak or weaker than his previous boss. Ukraine is ripe for the picking from Russia. Biden will let Ukraine go with some saber rattling to make the neo cons happy. Remember you don't have to be at war to increase arms sales. The threat is just as good.

I do find it fascinating that Russia keeps expanding back to its Soviet size under Democrats. Pooty boy knows he has Biden boxed in.

This x 1000

Biden is just like his ankle grabbing boss.

But the libtards and CCP Media flailed about regularly reeeeing about how Trump would get us into WW3 and would fire off some Nukes. Hard to believe anyone with a brain watches and listens to either one anymore.
SBI your numbers on the Avg IQ of Americans is way too high.

Don't know how, but Ukraine can't be surrendered (nor can Taiwan) without some kind of coalition to offset the aggression. If western Europe allows Russia to invade Ukraine and does nothing we need to immediately withdraw every single military personnel from the area and tell them to enjoy being Putin's bitches.

Not advocating a go it alone USA only either, but folks unchecked aggression leads to more aggression and the world is in no position to allow Russia and China to start gobbling up independent countries; democracies at that. Only caveat being if you get involved you go to win, f that isn't the goal then pull up stakes and watch the world tumble towards another world wide conflagration.

Actually there are some sections of Ukraine that want independence from the rest of Ukraine. Those areas are populated by a lot of Russians. So Russia is protecting them from the central government oppressing them as they try to gain independence.

It would be like if Texas wanted to be an independent country and the federal government was not allowing them to go.

America needs to stay out of this issue totally.

The Ukraine was given areas historically Russian, but that was by Russian leaders in 1954. If the world isn't arming them to the teeth right now, they had better start....minus the blankets and powdered milk the ex-rodent in chief sent instead of lethal aid.

Letting them have The Ukraine because there are ethnic Russian populations, is exactly the argument that Russia used to invade The Republic of Georgia, China tried to do to Vietnam after the war there (1978 I believe), Hitler used for the Sudetenland and Alsace Lorraine. Lots of countries have ethnic populations that are from some other country, but that can't be the pretext for inviting aggression and the diminishment of sovereign countries who rightfully own that territory. Lots of Russians in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia so are we in favor of allowing them to break up a sovereign country because they would rather be ruled by Russia?

The larger problem with this though, is the instability this will create across western europe especially given the number of countries that have large socialist parties and embrace socialist and outright communist ideals. Don't get me wrong though, the pussies in Europe who have been liberated twice by American and British troops probably deserve to be cast into the Russian sodimit pit for awhile to find their backbones, but the price the rest of the western world will pay will be steep.

Or.... You believe in self determination and independence and believe that those sections of Ukraine deserve to be independent if they want. And if Putin and Russia want to protect them from a vengeful federal government then they should be good neighbors and do just that. And that America has no real national interest in this issue and needs to stay away. And arming the central federal government would just be facilitating via proxy a possible genocidal cleansing.

Ostatedchi none of this is a "Gotcha" type attempt on my part either....

Guess what I don't understand is how has or will the Ukrainian Government been vengeful? I've got absolutely no issue with areas gaining independence through negotiating or constitutional means, but having one sovereign country invade another to gain that independence is not how it should work. Have a number of friends in The Ukraine and all that government is doing currently is expunging Russian (not Russians) from their country going forward and for a nation that had upwards of 3.9 million starved to death (known as the Holodomor), approximately 13% of the whole Ukrainian population, good for the Ukrainians.

Would you be in favor of the Mexican army invading Texas counties along the border so the largely hispanic populations could be independent of Texas/US?

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but have not heard of any genocidal tendencies by the Ukrainian Federal Government directed towards ethnic russian populations.

Definitely understand where your coming from though and the only way this would ever work is with a worldwide coalition pushing back, absent that forget it. But Russia gobbling up this or that portion of independent countries will continue unabated until there is no option but to stop them and that will be the good guys operating from a position of weakness, not strength.

Ironically, I'm less worried about China because militarily they just aren't capable of projecting power much past their shores and besides why would China even risk a war when you can buy off the parasitic whore politicians in the US and other places thereby gaining the needed influence.

The democratically elected government of Ukraine was deposed with Hillary Clinton State Department support and replaced with a neo-nazi government.
