Which would you say each are?

Success: new tax plan
Failure: inability to push new healthcare through

Other big successes for me would be the economy. Being able to boast lowest black unemployment is huge. Another disappointment for me is no real movement on the wall.

Success: Economy. The supposed crater post election never happened, and instead the economy has accelerated enough that inflation is suddenly a real concern.

Failure: Inability to avoid the idiot tweet gaffes that allow the media free reign to potshot him on a continual basis. His tweets have allowed for the courts to fight him in regards to things like the immigration restrictions, etc.

Spot-on with tweet gaffes. So unnecessary.

Success- making a little headway on healthcare (repeal of individual mandate), stock market performance, and tax reform
Failure- Staffing/personnel, signing a deficit spending bill, the twitters, not following through on campaign promises.

Remains to be seen: the economy. Keep in mind the stock market is NOT the economy. It’s not even a great proxy for the economy. Trump is neither significantly better nor worse than Obama when it comes to broad indicators (excluding the stock market). https://www.bloomberg.com/view/arti...rst-year-echoes-obama-s-record-on-the-economy

While I would agree with this, the fact that wages are now growing (something not seen much earlier in the recovery), inflation concerns are now being generated, consumer confidence levels are at or near record highs, all indicate the economy is a net positive above the fact the market made 29%.
