Well, I was one out of two. I figured the old Ball dude would be the first to make an anti-Trump comment, but it took longer than I expected. He such a tool.
"When Foster arrived at the White Cloud District Detention Center, he says, they gave him a cup and a toothbrush and put him in a cell about the size of a racquetball court where he would spend most of the next 280 days.
"In the cell, there was an average of 30 men,"says Foster, an amiable 49-year-old who speaks with a Southern drawl.
"There were no chairs, there were no beds. We slept on the concrete floor, and most people didn't even have a sheet and certainly no pillows. It was so crowded that most inmates had to sleep on their side."

Let's say Trump really did help them.
His need to have his ego stroked is what is silly. Why does he care what POS LaVar Ball said? He already took credit for getting those 3 bad hombres back to the US. Why not just move on, knowing the truth, rather than acting like a child about the whole situation?
Now, let's say that Ball is right, and Trump is taking credit for something he didn't actually do.
Or, let's say that Trump really did help, but the Chinese didn't communicate that to Ball, and he really believes that Trump had nothing to do with it.
Either way, both are acting like 8 year olds.
No way ANY American president would leave a foreign country where Americans are being held, in a similar situation, without saying or doing something. If Trump didn’t say or do anything and those shoplifters were still there, Daddy Ball would be calling him a racist.
Come on Been, that's how politics works. Surely you weren't waiting on the NYT to interview Trump and give him some credit. So the guy toots his own horn, who else is going to help him out? Even a Harvard study said 93% of all stories done on Trump were negative.
On the flip side, how freakingly stupid does one have to be to shoplift in a foreign country. Not like three 6'6"+ black guys would stick out anyway.
