I’m just glad that “news sites” can take something from “sources” and report it, then another “news site” can take that story, summarize it into something else to cast it in a more negative light, then braindead slobs can lap it up as pure, verified facts, and finally, go spouting it out online and in real life as some sort of vindication of their own intelligence and evidence of how everyone else is completely wrong about everything. And this drives “news sites” to keep repeating the process to drive their own page views and advertising revenue.

It’s like the circle of life, but just more asinine.
