Today's puppet string: flag burning

He is also getting many on the left to say they are cool with burning the flag. It is further discrediting the media.

He is a master troll. You would think CNN and others would have figured it out by now, but their hatred for anything but what they can control is blinding them.
 
Burning the American flag is a great strategy for people who want the party they support to be in power.

Shep Smith needs to go ahead an get his operation to turn into a women, he sucks! I originally wished Trump had stayed off twitter after the election, but he has really mastered the art of trolling hypocrites and the sky is falling crowd. The media sits around like Pavlov's dogs, except it a tweet now instead of a bell.............

Riddle me this, burn a cross - hate crime, burn a Koran - hate crime, burn a rainbow flag - hate crime, burn the American flag - free speech.

You can put a cross in a jar of piss and it's art but do the same with the Muslim Star and Crescent and you'd start and international incident.

Except that a Koran was burned....no criminal charges.

Crosses have been burned....no charges (for the speech aspect, charges have been filed when crosses were burned on others private property).

If a Muslim Star and Cresent was put in a jar of piss in America....no charges.

The correct response to a proposed law banning flag burning is that it's constitutional free speech to do so....the 1st Amendment protects even vile unpatriotic speech....but no real patriotic American would ever do it.

Basically trump Trump....clearly disavow such conduct and be done with it.

Let me be clear. I think anything that doesn't physically harm someone or intrudes on someone's property or destroys someone else's property should be protected.

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of liberals.

Mark Cuban: Donald, I have to hand it to you. You've really mastered the art of trolling the media and Hillary voters. I still think you got lucky though.

Kudos to Biff if he does. I want him to succeed. It's conservatives that announced they wanted the POTUS to fail, then obstructed, then claimed he was ineffective.

Obama was ineffective, but I don't recall anyone that wasn't a cartoon character talking head hoping he would fail. It's idiotic and largely an urban myth. I'm sure you can find examples of it, but statistical relevance be damned!

I was responding earlier to a claim that for "the left" burning a Koran is a hate crime....burning a cross is a hate crime...Piss Star and Crescent would be a hate crime....but I don't recall any prosecutions or calls for outlawing those things from the left.

Basically I was saying that was a BS strawman argument.
 
I'm still on the fence as to whether or not Trump himself is a social media mastermind with some elaborate strategy and tactics behind his tweets or whether it is someone else.

IMO, the level of sophistication has increased since Bannon came on board with the election. Early on in the election and especially prior to him running, his Twitter game was pretty ham handed and simple. I don't agree with everything Bannon says or asserts, but I recognize Bannon is a media manipulator "par excellance"...and I mean that as a compliment. Dude's a genius in that area. I'm still thinking it's possible Trump has quietly handed over his account to Bannon exclusively. Can you imagine Bannon holding the reins and running the show once @POTUS gets turned over? That's a powerful tool.

Trump needs to slow it down with his puppet mastery. If he keeps it up at this pace, and wasting it on time when he isn't in office, the media and democrats will have him figured out by the first year of his second term.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I'm 100% convinced there is a targeted and sophisticated social media plan at work and it's is critical that it appears to remain "Biff" shooting his mouth off.

I think Bannon recognized an ideal vessel in Trump and has simply redirected his style while keeping it relatively organic in wording. I'm sure it's still Trump hitting "post" for the most part. But I think Bannon or his people give him some topics to post on and proof the tweets first.

It's pretty fascinating

Today Shep Smith is fanning himself over the remaining appearance of conflict of interest regarding Trump giving his biz to his kids instead of a blind trust.

Say what you will but he makes the MSM dance to his tune. They probably know it and can't stop.

It is this more than anything that is winning me over.
 
Hillary sponsored a bill in 2005 to make flag burning illegal and punishable by a year in prison.
