I recall during the spring game his first year at OSU, him grabbing a player coming off the field by face mask and head butting him with shocking force. I want to say it was Victor DeGrate, though I can't recall for sure if their time here crossed. In any event, the player was much, much larger than Beckman. Looked pretty shocked too.
I wouldn't say it was abusive at all though. The player was unaffected other than the shock. Beckman on the other hand got a nice, bloody gash for his efforts.
