Maybe it is much ado about nothing. I was watching videos of our women’s softball team celebrating after a big win over the Longhorns, and noted that the were wearing turquoise uniforms. I really liked it whe those uniforms debuted for basketball. I think the turquoise and orange (surprisingly) look really good together. I thought it was really great that OSU was paying homage to Oklahoma Native Americans, especially with Lindy Waters on the roster.
However, it is starting to feel like we have a new school color. It wasn’t too many years ago that I found out that gray was one of our school colors, and that we were going to start seeing a lot more of it. Now, it is ubiquitous when it comes to OSU gear. I’m not sure if turquoise is trending in that direction or not. I’m also not sure how I feel about it.
