There are only 4 current players that I will be upset about if they are not back next season.

I don't want Cam to leave, because he is a team leader, and has been an above average player on many occasions in the past. However, without knowing what is going on with him right now, I can't rule out that it is not something mental/emotional. If that is the case, and it results in him opting to leave to take care of himself, I am fine with that.

I'm fairly well convinced that DD will open up a 3rd scholarship for MB to fill in the next 2 months.

I expect CuJo to return since he has already transferred once, and I am fine with him being on the roster, but am hopeful that he is no better than our 10th man in the rotation. The kid shows flashes of being a good Big 12 player, but most of the time, he contributes very little of note. With that said, it wouldn't take much off season improvement/strength training for him to become a consistent positive contributor. He isn't awful on defense, and he at least has a clue about driving to the basket. If he gets stronger, maybe he will drive more and shoot awful 3's less.

I think that at least 3 of the incoming freshman will immediately slot into the rotation and provide immediate improved play on both ends of the court.

Boynton needs to come up with 2 more guys who can legitimately play at a Big 12 level. Hopefully one guy who is at least big/strong/talented enough to play PF (or C), and one guard. A real PG would be preferred, but I'd take a combo guard who can capably log a few minutes at the point without being overmatched.

Anything beyond that would be gravy.
