This Doesn't Fit the Narrative

Her next lie will blame it on the dog. What a scummy POS!

Devastating I say...

"He (former Secretary of State Collin Powell) did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department."

David, I know you aren't this stupid, so I'm perplexed why you'd make such a stupid comment.

Please oh please connect the dots from the actual statement to the assertion that "Powell Fires Back..." I have clearly missed something here.

  • His office issued a statement refuting the dinner story promulgated by HRC and Clinton house minstrel Joe Conason
  • He expressly stated that State had no equivalent system at the time he was in office. State did when HRC was in office.
  • Powell's office explicitly stated that he ONLY used a specific computer on his desk for classified information. We know with absolute certainty that this isn't true oF HRC.
  • The entire purpose of HRC and Hillary floating this turd is to create some equivalency with what the sainted Colin Powell did when it's clear no such equivalency exists.
  • Did Powell tell a half dozen different stories to attempt to explain why he had a private e-mail account?
  • Did Powell have his own e-mail server in a closet at his private residence?

Sorry, nothing in the actual statement made by Powell "Fires Back". He doesn't remember a dinner conversation, confirms he emailed her with specific details citing some reasons for it, blah, blah, blah.

Again, this false sense of import of these stories is as much the problem as anything else. The opponents of HRC keep throwing this trivial shit at her hoping something will stick - in effect feeding her primary defense "boo hoo - poor me - these conservatives are so hateful and unfair".

Find something of substance and then make the charge rather than this pitiful drip drip drip of nothing...

DavidA with the obligatory reach around for Hillary....cuz if the meanie ole Republicans did it (doubtful) then Hildabeast has got the green light.

Colin Powell says he didn't do it....I definitely will believe a West Point Grad, who earned a CIB in Vietnam and has distinguished himself time and again, over a lying POS who once claimed she landed under sniper fire in Bosnia.

The Clinton and liberal agenda has always been, deflect the accusation (or flat out lie about it) then acuse the other side of having a vendetta or agenda to ostensibly "get them." The people who believe this hag are suffering Stockholm Syndrome, only plausible explanation or their heads are so far up Hildabeasts ass that the quickest way to get some air would be come out the mouth instead of turning around and reversing path.

I'll be sure to alert you if "something of substance" ever happens. *eye roll*

Early on Hildebitch blamed her email problems on former GOP Secs of State. Glad to see Powell fighting back. Memo to Colin: Liberals want your support for as long as they can propagandize you. Once they can justify their misdeeds at your expense they take a big crap on you.

You know, people get speeding tickets everyday. Not once when I've received one have I ever thought the excuse of "yeah but dad speeds all the time and he never got a ticket" would be a viable excuse. If Colin Powell did it someone can figure it out if he did something illegal like HRC, doesn't change for one second that what HRC did was wrong. Seriously, there are folks saying she's fit to lead and this is a perfect example of a non leader. I hate passing the buck and throwing others under the bus to somehow justify a decision. Cp isn't running for leader of the Free World, nothing about how HRC has handled this screams "Follow me!!!" Sadly it's been so long since we've seen a true leader most folks have no clue what one looks like and how they act. Right now American politics are serving up crap in an ice cream cone and convincing folks that it's chocolate ice cream. Sad

The only justification I can think of for making this ridiculous claim is the Clinton campaign knows - duh - the media will never call bullshit. CP is too classy to throw the POS under the bus, but he should. I have no clue where this goes, but it's starting to look like flood the punchbowl with "straw man" turds.

Powell pretty much DID throw HRC and her people under the bus over the weekend if you read the story at The Hill in the latest link I provided above. Doubt you'll hear a peep about it on the broadcast news or cables news networks.

"Powell this weekend publicly reproached Clinton’s reported comments to the FBI naming him as the inspiration for her private email setup at the State Department.

“Her people have been trying to pin it on me,” Powell, who was secretary of State under President George W. Bush, told People at an event in the Hamptons this weekend. “The truth is she was using [her email setup] for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did.”"

Also:

"Why does the former diplomat believe this to be the case?

"Why do you think?" he said. "It doesn't bother me. But it's okay; I'm free.""

"Not to mention that, in terms of verbiage and format, Blumenthal’s email read exactly like classified NSA reporting, as anybody acquainted with our SIGINT would immediately recognize. As one veteran agency official told me back in January, Blumenthal’s email was NSA information with “at least 90 percent confidence.”

Which was no coincidence, since an NSA investigation subsequently determined that Blumenthal’s Sudan assessment was derived from their reporting—in some cases verbatim. As I reported in March, NSA concluded that Blumenthal’s Sudan report came from four different agency SIGINT reports, all classified Top Secret/SCI. Then it got worse:

At least one of those reports was issued under the GAMMA compartment, which is an NSA handling caveat that is applied to extraordinarily sensitive information (for instance, decrypted conversations between top foreign leadership, as this was). GAMMA is properly viewed as a SIGINT Special Access Program, or SAP, several of which Clinton compromised in another series of her “unclassified” emails.

NSA had no doubt that Blumenthal somehow got his hands on some of their “crown jewels” information. “It’s word-for-word, verbatim copying,” an agency official of them explained. “In one case, an entire paragraph was lifted from an NSA report” that was classified Top Secret/SCI. To add to the mystery, Sid emailed Hillary his “personal” assessment on Sudan only hours after some of those classified NSA reports were issued.

Somehow Sid Blumenthal—who in 2011 was not working for the U.S. government in any capacity and had not held security clearances in a decade—was reading above-top-secret NSA reports just hours after they appeared in tightly restricted GAMMA channels."

There was a coordinated effort to bypass federal law by setting up this email system. Then when it came to light (the Clinton machine, the State Dept, the WH and many in the media knew all along) there was a coordinated effort to obstruct justice by destroying all remnants of its existence. Unfortunately for the Clintons, every morsel of information, including highly classified national security information, was already known by foreign hackers, Assange, and foreign governments. Plain and simply, this was callous disregard for the rule of law bordering on treasonous behavior by many.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/sep/7/fbi-managers-instructed-to-exonerate-hillary-clint/

"At one point during the interrogation, FBI agents attempted to trick her, as the law permits them to do. Before the interrogation began, agents took the hard copy of an innocuous email Mrs. Clinton had sent to an aide and marked it “secret.” Then, at her interrogation, they asked Mrs. Clinton whether she recognized the email and its contents. She said she did not recognize it, but she questioned the “secret” denomination and pointed out to the agents that nothing remotely secret was in the email.

By examining the contents of the email to see whether it contained state secrets, which it clearly did not, Mrs. Clinton demonstrated an awareness of the law — namely, that it is the contents of a document or email that cause it to be protected by federal secrecy statutes, not the denomination put on it by the sender.

This added to the case against her because she later told the FBI that she had never paid attention to whether a document contained state secrets or not. In the strange world of espionage prosecution, this denial of intent is an admission of guilt, as it is profoundly the job of the secretary of State to recognize state secrets and to keep them in their secure government-protected venues, and the grossly negligent failure to do so is criminal."
