Obviously, I am one of the board Admins around here, and I don't want this to sound like I am patting myself on the back, because that is not what this is about.
I just wanted to say that Sutton Court has evolved into a really strong message board over the last few months. Great conversation. Pertinent and interesting information. Minimal personal attacks.
We have a lot of "new" members who bring a lot of intelligent discussion. We have had the return of past posters such as @Oldcoach68, @PokesUP, and others. We have @Velvet Elvis who has exponentially increased his contributions after fading into the background for years, and he is not the only one who falls into this category.
Special thanks to @SouthWestOKPoke for maintaining the recruiting thread that is pinned to the top. I know that I am not the only one who has spent a lot of time reading the thread and clicking the links.
To conclude, I fully understand that a big reason for this is that we have just been liberated from the era of Ford futility and that it appears that his replacement gives all of us many reasons to be optimistic about the future. As we get further away from the current euphoria, I am sure interest will wane, but I think that once we actually see HCBU in game action, there will be plenty of fodder for debate. With that said, it is nice to be able to spend some time here while football is on hiatus.
